Diana Vreeland, if you don’t know her and you love fashion then you MUST get to know her. She is a fashion legend. A woman who fully embraced style and is one of my fashion icons.

Her grandson’s wife, Lisa Immordino Vreeland, created this new documentary : Diana Vreeland : The Eye has to Travel. Which opens this month. The trailer is below. I”ll let it speak for itself.

  • She discovered Lauren Bacall
  • Her apartment was decorated exclusively in the color red
  • SHE advised Jackie Kennedy on Style matters
  • Vogue Editor in chief 1963-1971
  • Discovered Edie Sedgwick
  • 1964 film ” Who are You , Polly Maggoo.”, character based on Vreeland
  • 1971-1984 curated over 12 exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art

I hope you read all about Ms Vreeland, she is an inspiration and lived life to the very fullest. Her eye was INCREDIBLE and the things she created over her lifetime were so ahead of the times. They look current even today!

She personifies chic. She created a signature style statement in everything she did.
