Friday night, San Francisco was smiled upon by the stylish gods. The Bently Reserve is now open for fashion shows and other fashion events. The show put on was called Spring into Fall Couture Fashion Show and every item going down the runway, was handmade by a local San Francisco designer.
Amber Marie Bently, entrepreneuer and jewelry designer had a fabulous vision for this event and it was executed extremely well. From the staging, the lighting, music, models and most importantly the designers being shown. These designers are the unsung heroes in the fashion world. Labourisly working away on every detail, stitch by stitch. The fabrics, the silhouettes, the construction was just incredible.
Here are some of the amazing photos taken by photographer Ed Jay below.
Gelerah a graduate from the Art Institute of SF, is just an incredible artist. As she said to me ” Growing up during the revolution my entire childhood, I had to create another world in order to survive.”
Each piece you see below- was done entirely by her hands.

I believe a picture says a thousand words…….Go out and support your local designers! They are the sunlight and beauty in this chaotic world at the moment.
